The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare system is in needs of full range of laboratory specimen collection services for the VA beneficiaries resided in the Mesquite/ St. Georgia, Nevada. The VA intends to negotiate and award a non competitive acquisition with Mesa View Regional Hospital in Mesquite, Nevada beginning October 01, 2009.The Mesa View Regional Hospital is only known sources capable of providing the service within the Mesquite, Nevada area. The Hospital Lab meets the accreditations of CAP, JCAHO and CLIA as necessary to provide the Lab specimen collection service. The Hospital Laboratory shall provide all lab collection and handling supplies necessary to ensure specimen integrity and in accordance with all applicable Federal and State of Nevada regulatory requirements. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price IDIQ. The NAICS code is 621498 and the size standard $10 million. A rest for the RFQ will be issued to the known sources, all interested concerns providing the services shall demonstrate their technical capability of laboratory specimen collection service at their facility within the Mesquite, Nevada in writing to the Contracting Officer by e-mail: grace.kim@va.gov or fax the information to (562) 961-1394 by C.O.B 3:30 PM, 9/16/2009. Responses received will be evaluated however, a determination by the Government not to compete the propose procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
