SYNOPSIS

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for EMERGENCY REPAIR ON 8 WATER LINE on the north-west end of Bldg. 331 in the Privately Owned Vehicle (POV) area located at USARC, Bell, CA. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to perform emergency work to include demolition, excavation, removal of excavated material and damaged piping, install of new piping and state highway approved hot mix asphalt, implement safety measures to protect public, and ensure Dig Alert or other similar service verify where water lines are prior to digging. All operations necessary to accomplish the work will be done in accordance with the project Scope of Work and Drawing. Solicitation number W9124N-09-T-0235 will be available on or about 11 Sep 2009.

A SITE VISIT is scheduled for Monday, 14 September 2009 at 10:00am (PST). Site visit location is 5340 Bandini Blvd, Patton Hall, USARC, Bell, CA 90201-6499. All questions pertaining to this procurement must be submitted NLT 16 September 2009 at 10:00 a.m. (PST). The primary Site Visit POC is Wayne Alves, PH: 562-795-1444. Proposals are due Friday, 18 September 2009 at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time).

This acquisition is set-aside at 100% as a Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237110 with a size standard of $33.5M. Performance period is 30 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is below $25,000.00. Payment and performance bonds are not required for this project. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract.
