II.3) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND QUANTITY OR VALUE OF SUPPLIES OR
SERVICES: The provision of mains fed water and wastewater services, and
all associated services including, but not restricted to, metering
services, new connections and disconnections, cost reduction analysis,
surveys and leakage detection and trade effluent.
Participation in the tender process is limited to companies who are either
Licensed Providers under the Water Services etc. (Scotland) Act 2005, or
have submitted an application to become a Licensed Provider, pending grant
of licenses from the Water Industry Commission for Scotland.

APUC Ltd is acting on behalf of itself and all 62 Further and Higher
Education Institutions in Scotland, including affiliated bodies and any
new and successor institutions.
This Framework Agreement may be opened up to enable other publicly funded
bodies in Scotland to participate. Full details of participating bodies
will be containted in the relevant Contract Notice to be published prior
to the issue of Invitation to Tender documents.
