The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for HVAC installation in two offices at the El Monte U. S. Army Reserve Center (USARC). The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide a new 9000 Btu dual zone heat pump mini-split HVAC unit PACE or equal to provide air conditioning to the office spaces of the El Monte USARC Admin Offices 103 and 104. The Mini Split system shall be fitted with the manufactures condensate pumps, drain lines, line sets, and mounting hardware and installed per the manufacturer specifications. An access door panel shall be installed in the exterior stucco eave for access to work and install the system components. All work is to be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work, Drawings, Plans, and Manufactures Recommendations. Full details will be provided in the solicitation.

Solicitation number W9124N-09-T-0208 will be available on or about 9 September 2009.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for Monday, 14 September 2009 at 10:30 am (PST).

Site Visit location is: 1200 North Potrero Road, South El Monte, CA. The primary Site Visit POC is Mr. Ralph Mendoza, ralph.mendoza1@usar.army.mil. Alternate Site Visit POC: Kent Jackson 562-795-2098 or cell 562-235-9967. Only contractors that sign in during the mandatory site visit will be considered for this acquisition.

Proposals are due Monday, 18 September 2009 at 4:30 pm (PST).

This acquisition is a 100 percent Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 with a size standard of $14.0 M. Performance period is 90 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is Less than $25,000.00. Payment and performance bonds are not required for this project. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract.
