The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for the repair of the sidewalk by building 650 at the BT Collins USARC in Sacramento, CA. The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide a complete and usable project. Contractor shall completely remove and replace the existing side walk areas shown on the attached drawing. All material will be removed from site, at an approved land fill, while taking care not to disturb the surrounding landscape areas. The contractor shall properly saw cut the concrete transitions, at the locations shown on the attached drawing, to obtain a straight and true edge for matching the new concrete. Excavation of existing earth will be performed in such a manner as to limit the amount of soil being removed. The area being saw cut will be approved, prior to cutting by the QC on site. All work is to be completed in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations, Scope of Work, Drawings, Solicitation, Amendments and Resulting Contract.

Solicitation number W9124N-09-T-0209 will be available on or about 9 September 2009.

A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for Monday, 14 September 2009 at 10:00am (PST).

Site Visit location is: 6270 Midway Street, Bldg 650, Sacramento, CA. The primary Site Visit POC is Steve Gueck, 916-233-6865; donald.s.gueck@usar.army.mil.

Alternate Site Visit POC: Kent Jackson 562-795-2098 or cell 562-235-9967. Only contractors that sign in during the mandatory site visit will be considered for this acquisition.

Proposals are due Friday, 18 September 2009 at 4:30 pm (PST).

This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for SBA Certified 8(a) Program Business concerns only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237310 with a size standard of $33.5M. Performance period is 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Payment and performance bonds are required for this project and must be submitted within 15 days after contract award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract.
