prescence of controlled and illegal drugs.
The ITT seeks tenders to supply (1) Point of Contact drugs Test Kits;
and/or (2) a Laboratory-based confirmatory analysis service.

SECTION VI: COMPLEMENTARY INFORMATION
VI.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The ITT requested tenders for 2 lots.
Synergy Health Laboratory Services Limited was the successful bidder for
both lots therefore only one contract was awarded encompassing both lots.
The Purchasing Authority is acting on behalf of the following
organisations:
This contract(s) will be available for use by the Scottish Prison Service,
the Northern Ireland Prison Service and Central Scotland Police Force. The
contract(s) will also be available to other Executive Agencies and
Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPB's).

VI.3) PROCEDURES FOR APPEAL:
VI.3.2) Lodging of appeals: Precise information on deadline(s) for
lodging appeals: The SPS will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day
standstill period at the point that information on the award of the
contract is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful
tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before
the contract is entered into. Applicants have 2 working days from the
notification of the award decision to requerst additional debriefing and
that information has to be provided a minimum of 3 working days before
expiry of the standstill period. Such information should be requested from
Lisa Bain at the address show in point I.1.
