The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to draft specifications and standards to accommodate a variety of design solutions and processes, and to encourage a broad vender base. NAVSEA is preparing draft MIL-DTL-24705B, Penetrators, Multiple Cable, for Electric Cables, General Specification for; MIL-DTL-24705/1B, Penetrators, Multiple Cable, for Electric Cables, Rectangular Metal Frame, for Square-Faced Blocks; MIL- P-24705/2 Notice of Cancellation, Penetrators, Multiple Cable, for Electric Cables, Notched Rectangular Metal Frame, for Rectangular-Faced Blocks; and MIL-DTL-24705/3A, Penetrators, Multiple Cable, for Electric Cables, Round Frame, for Square-Faced Blocks. Copies of these documents may be received by sending an email to commandstandards@navy.mil with the document numbers in the subject line and a brief message requesting a copy of the documents.
