GENERALPROCUREMENT NOTICE Republic of Iraq Integrated National Energy Strategy Technical AssistanceProject Energy Sector GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Project ID No.P111074 The Government of Iraq has applied for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Integrated National EnergyStrategy Technical Assistance Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for consulting services to beprocured under this project. This project will be financed by the Iraq Trust Fund. The project will include the following components: Consulting services to the designated agencies and bodies of the Government of Iraq to assistwith the formulation of an Integrated National Energy Strategy. Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will beconductedthrough the procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurementunder IBRD Loans and IDA Credits (May 2004 revised on October 2006 ), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordancewith the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World BankBorrowers (May 2004 revised on October 2006).
