Merseytravel has signed an agreement to relocate from its 2 current
Headquarters buildings to a new-build office block in Liverpool City
Centre. The required services relate to the sale (or lease) of one of the
existing buildings and the exit from the lease of the second current HQ
building, plus the sub-letting of unused space in the new building.
Merseytravel may require the successful tenderer to provide commercial
property advice services relating to Merseytravel's other commercial
property during the contract period.
Merseytravel anticipates that the services will be required for the period
from August 2009 to March 2011. This period may be extended at the
absolute discretion of Merseytravel. The service contract may be divided
into lots to suit Merseytravel's requirements.
As Merseytravel is the operating name of both the Merseyside Passenger
Transport Executive and Merseyside Integrated Transport Authority. The
successul tender will be expected to provide the service to both the
Executive and the Authority.
