The 5th Contracting Squadron of Minot AFB ND will issue a solicitation for the packing, containerization and locally drayage of direct procurement method (DPM) personal property shipments. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, except as specified herein as Government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services. The performance period will be for 12 months with an anticipated start date of 1 Jan 10 with four one-year option periods. Areas of performance for this contract will consist of the following counties: Area 1: McHenry, McLean, Renville, and Ward. Area 2: Burke, Divide, McKenzie, Mountrail and Williams. Area 3: Adams, Billings, Bowman, Dunn, Golden Valley, Grant, Hettinger, Mercer, Morton, Oliver, Sioux, Slope, Stark. Area 4: Benson, Bottineau, Pierce, Rolette, Sheridan, Towner, and Wells. Area 5: Burleigh, Emmons, Kidder, Logan, and McIntosh. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The entire solicitation number FA4528-09-R-0047, will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at http://fbo.gov. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All responsible small business offerors will be considered by the agency.
