This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appearedin Development Business, issue no. WB 1821-571/01 of November 7, 2001 . 2. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has received a loan from the International Bank forReconstruction and Development toward the cost of Package 2B: EDSA LRT Line 3 Corridor (Mainline)Additional Works, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for Metro Manila Urban Transport Integration Project. 3. The MetropolitanManila Development Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the followingworks: § Design and Construction of Steel Footbridges § Rehabilitation of Sidewalk § Supply and Installation of Pedestrian Railings § Installation of Cat's Eye § Construction of Bus Lane Separator The ProjectLocations: § Along EDSA from Monumento to Roxas Boulevard The constructionperiod is one hundredtwenty-five calendar days (125 c.d.) 4.
