SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION

Supply, Maintenance & Support of ICT Fibre Channel Network Equipment.

Supply Board (ESB) will require a supply of components for their Corporate
Fibre Channel Infrastructure (SAN switches, switchport / application
blades, HBA's etc.).
The contract will also cover the maintenance of the items purchased and
maintenance of existing fibre channel equipment in ESB.

II.2) QUANTITY OR SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT
II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: Electricity Supply Board (ESB) will
require a supply of components for their Corporate Fibre Channel
Infrastructure (SAN switches, switchport / application blades, HBAs etc).
Currently ESB has deployed a SAN infrastructure of approx 2 000 ports in 3
locations, operating over Brocade switches, and utilising Emulex and
Qlogic adaptors.
It is intended that the contract will provide for a drawdown arrangement,
allowing ESB to call down requirements at regular intervals, and the
ongoing maintenance of the items purchased.
The contract will also cover the maintenance of existing fibre channel
equipment in ESB.

II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Duration in
months: Up to 60 (from the award of the contract).
