Council, on behalf of the North East Home Loans Partnership, is seeking
expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced
organisations to deliver a home loans scheme to provide affordable credit
to vulnerable people as part of the administration of private housing
financial assistance programme. This will include Fund Management, Client
Advice and guidance, loan administration on a range of of loans such as
repayment and equity based shared appreciation. The contract will be
developed during the term and may include the expansion of the range of
loans and purposes for which they can be used to help clients access home
ownership.
