THE TACOM CONTRACTING CENTER INTENDS TO NEGOTIATE WITH A LIMITED NUMBER OF SOURCES UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1 FOR THE ACQUISITION OF DIRECT LINEAR VALVES IN SUPPORT OF THE M9 ARMOR COMBAT EARTHMOVER. THE RFP WILL BE ISSUED TO TRANDIGM INC AND REAL-TIME LABOTATORIES, WHO ARE THE ONLY QUALIFIED SOURCES THAT HOLD RIGHTS TO THE TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2009 AND RESPONSES WILL BE DUE 30 CALENDAR DAYS THEREAFTER.
