The purpose of this contract is to survey for potential nest trees of the marbled murrelet and old-growth legacy trees and snags and to mark them during the late Summer or Autumn 2009. These surveys shall be conducted within proposed thinning units 48, 52, 53, 85, 93, 94, S1-S12, S16, S17, S24-S26, E1, E4, E6, E13, E15-E17, E39, and E62 of the Sitkum Thinning Project on the Pacific Ranger District, Olympic National Forest (1,021.2 total acres, see Technical Exhibit A � Unit Table).
