The work consists of the provision of all material, labor, and equipment for a new fire standpipe system to serve existing stairways of the Main Building and West Annex Building as shown on the Drawings and in the Specifications. Provide core drilling for pipe penetrations through existing construction with the necessary care and caution. Replace existing fire department connection with new. Connect new piping systems to the existing fire protection systems and the existing fire pump discharge mains. Connect new tamper switches to the existing Simplex-Grinnell addressable fire alarm control panel signal initiation circuits for all new alarm devices. The estimated price range is $250,000 to $500,000.

Unable to create uploadable Amendment 01, however, here is text of it: Section 15300-2, para. 1.4 Quality Assurance "...California licensed contractor in possession of a valid C-16 license" should be replaced with "...licensed Fire Protection contractor". And "...whose business is located within a 75-mile radius of the project site" should be replaced with "with the ability to respond within 48-hours for non-emergencies and within 24-hours for emergency situations." Amendment 01 will be posted soon.
