This is a pre-solicitation notice for synopsis of "Clinical Healthcare Support Services" for Davis-Monthan AFB (DMAFB), Arizona. This is a commercial service; therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, shall apply to this acquisition. Services include a myriad of medical staffing requirements. Doctors, nurses, technicians, etc. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, management, materials, equipment and all other tools necessary to provide a comprehensive medical support staff for DMAFB. The contractor shall perform these services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), position descriptions and all other required regulatory guidance. This acquisition will be solicited as a Request for Proposal (RFP) utilizing FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A Firm Fixed Price Performance Based Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract will result from this solicitation. Award selection will be based on Past Performance and Price. Period of performance will be for a base period and four (4) one-year option periods. This acquisition has been Set-Aside for eligible business concerns in the Small Business Administrations Section 8(a) program. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 621111; and, the small business size standard is $10 million. The RFP Number is FA4877-09-R-0005 and shall be issued on or about 14 Aug 2009, posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunity website (http://www.eps.gov). No paper copies will be issued; no telephone request will be honored and no bidder's mailing list will be maintained. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package. Firms are requested to obtain the solicitation package on the aforementioned website as quickly as possible, as the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the section 8(a) program.
