Works contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/128945/D/WKS/KOS.
2. Procedure: Open international.
3. Programme: IPA.
4. Financing: IPA 2008.
5. Contracting authority: European Commission Liaison Office to Kosovo,
Pristina, KOSOVO.
6. Contract description: The aim of the project is the execution of the
works for an extension to the water treatment plant at Shipol
(Mitrovicë/Mitrovica) to increase the output from 450 l/s to 1 000 l/s.
The works will also include additional raw water supply including
abstraction works, pumping station, and additional trunk mains for
delivery of treated water. The works contract will be awarded under the
EuropeAid model contract.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: This publication refers only to
1 lot.
Please note that there will be 2 lots for project completion, 1 lot will
be funded with EU funds and the second lot from the Kosovo budget.
Therefore, there will be a need for close coordination of the works with
the second contractor who will implement the second lot paid for by the
Kosovo budget.
