This procurement is an Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) opportunity at the Naval Support Activity, Norfolk, VA. The project property is located at the Activity's South Depot Annex (SDA) and is approximately one mile from the Norfolk Naval Station. The EUL is a real estate lease for three portions of the SDA totaling approximately 36.6 acres of land. The project property is improved with four (4) warehouses aggregating approximately 315,000 square feet of space. The warehouses are occupied by military tenants and the selected lessee will be required, at its expense, to relocate the current occupants into replacement facilities as good as or better than the existing warehouses. The initial lease term shall not exceed 50 years. However, the Navy may enter into a succeeding lease of the same or similar term conditioned upon the lessee's satisfactory performance under the initial lease and if determined by the Navy to be in the Government's best interest. Industry Forum:Prior to the release of the final RFQ, an industry forum and site visit will be held. The industry forum will be held on September 23, 2009, at the Norfolk Marriott Waterside Hotel located at 235 East Main Street, Norfolk, VA 23510, (757) 627-4200, (800) 874-0264, www.marriottnorfolk.com. Only registered attendees will be allowed access to the industry forum and site visit. Registration will end at 5:00 pm EST on September 16, 2009. The registration fee to attend the forum and site visit is $100.00 per person. Hotel accommodations will be the responsibility of the registrants.
