Individual service contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/128936/C/SER/MULTI.
2. Procedure: Restricted.
3. Programme: IPA.
4. Financing: Decision COM(2009) 57062 of 24.7.2009.
Budget line BGUE-B2009-22.020701-C1-ELARG/ENV.
5. Contracting authority: European Community, represented by the European
Commission, on behalf of and for the account of the beneficiary countries,
Brussels, BELGIUM.
6. Nature of contract: Fee-based.
7. Contract description: The aim is to bring the beneficiaries closer to
the Community civil protection mechanism and to contribute to the
development of their civil protection capacities. The following groups of
activities will be covered:
1. trainings and exchanges of experts;
2. exercises; and
3. workshops on various topics.
It is envisaged that a tender with 2 to 3 lots will be published.
8. Indicative budget: 4 000 000 EUR — in total.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: September
2009.

11. Legal basis: Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 of 17.7.2006
establishing an Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).
