The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for the renovation of the latrines at the Bakersfield US Army Reserve Center in Bakersfield, California. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: Contractor shall completely remove and dispose of all existing fixtures, floor and wall ceramic tile, wall and ceiling plaster, center wall, concrete floor and associated plumbing lines in walls in order to leave the two latrines ready for new installations. All removed debris shall be disposed of off the government property at an approved disposal site. Government dumpsters located on site will not be used. Installation will consist of, but not limited to the following: Re-routing and installing new plumbing, new concrete sub floors, new 2 square ceramic tile on floor and 6 square tile with border row on walls, new drywall ceilings, new fixtures, including automatic faucets and flush valves from one manufacturer, new showers, new floor drains with trap primers, new toilet partitions, new lighting and exhaust fans with occupancy sensors and painting.

Solicitation number W9124N-09-R-0048 will be available on or about 20 August 2009.

A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for Tuesday, 26 Aug 2009 at 10:00 AM (PST).

Site Visit location is: U. S. Army Reserve Center, 4101 Chester Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93301-1197.

Proposals are due Friday, 18 September 2009 at 4:30 pm (PST).

This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for HUBZONE Small Business firms only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238990 with a size standard of $14.0M. Performance period is 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Payment and performance bonds are required for this project and must be submitted within fifteen days after contract award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract.

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a new requirement for Custodial Service at the U.S. Army Reserve Center in Marina, California. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed at Marina United States Army Reserve Center (USARC), located in Marina, California in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. The contractor shall accomplish all cleaning tasks and be required to provide and replenish soap and paper products in all latrines. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, building commercial standards, all local, state, and federal laws and the requirements of the contract.
