Packer Meadow Road #373 - This project consists of 1.13 miles of new construction relocation and 0.40 miles of road obliteration of the Packer Meadow Road #373 on the Powell Ranger District. Work includes clearing, excavation, culvert installation, crushing and placing aggregate surfacing, stockpiling crushed aggregate, recontouring existing road at the failure sites, and seeding. Road dimensions will be similar to the road sections on each adjoining side. The start of the project is located at MP 4.3 on Packer Meadow Road #373 which starts from Hwy 12 at the Lolo Pass Visitor's Center. Price estimate for the project is between $100,000 - $250,000. Estimated start work date is June 15, 2010.
