Individual service contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/128871/SER/MULTI.
2. Procedure: Restricted.
3. Programme: ENPI (European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument).
4. Financing: 19.080101 — European Neighbourhood and Partnership (ENP)
financial cooperation with Mediterranean countries.
5. Contracting authority: European Community, represented by the European
Commission, on behalf of and for the account of the beneficiary countries
and territories, Brussels, BELGIUM.
6. Nature of contract: Fee-based.
7. Contract description: The overall objective of this project is to
support the operational activities of the future EC/Arab League Liaison
Office to be established in Malta with a view to facilitating and
enhancing EU/Arab League cooperation.
The activities to be implemented will consist of designing and organising
training modules, conferences and seminars in fields such as climate
change, environment, energy, trade facilitation, etc. in relation to the
development of the ENP-South Cooperation Policy, the Euro-Mediterranean
Partnership and the Union for the Mediterranean. The list of thematic
subjects to be addressed is neither exhaustive, nor definitive at this
stage.
8. Indicative maximum budget: 500 000 EUR.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: September
2009.

11. Legal basis: Regulation (EC) No 1638/2006 of the European Parliament
and of the Council of 24.10.2006 laying down general provisions
establishing a European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI).
