Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR),locatedin Folsom, CA has a requirement for herbicide application services tocontrolvegetation under and around transmission towers and along transmissionright-of-ways (ROW). The Government intends to award one IndefiniteDeliveryIndefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Performance-based Herbicide ApplicationContractwith Firm Fixed Price Task Orders for a base period of 12 months and three(3)12 month option periods. This requirement is set a-side 100% for smallbusinesswith a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 561730anda size standard of $7.0 million. Contractors must be licensed by the StateofCalifornia, must have a safety plan approved by SNR's Safety Office beforeanywork may begin, and must be registered in Central Contractors Registration[(CCR) http://www.bpn.gov/ccr]. If offerors are not registered and activeinthe Online Representations and Certifications Application [(ORCA)https://orca.bpn.gov], the representations and certifications in thesolicitation must be completed and returned with the proposal. The Service Contract Act, FAR 52.222-41 applies. Employers must comply with thecurrentDepartment of Labor Wage Determination (WD) Number 1977-0727, Rev 36, dated 05/26/2009. A pre-proposal conference shall be held at Western Area PowerAdministration, 114 Parkshore Drive, Folsom, CA 95630; date is tentativelysetfor August 21 at 10:30 but may change.
