DescriptionThe Tax Office is seeking suitable tenderers for the provision of   security guarding services for all of its sites over an initial period of three years with 2 x two year extension options.

Conditions for ParticipationTenderers must satisfy the Conditions for Participation to participate in the RFT process or to be considered for evaluation. The conditions for participation are:
a. the Tenderer and its subcontractors must not be named as not complying with the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (Cth);
b. the Tenderer and its subcontractors must not be named on the list of persons and entities designated as terrorists under the Charter of United Nations (Anti-Terrorism Measures) Regulations 2001 (Cth); and
c. the Tenderer and its subcontractors must not have any unpaid claims in respect of judicial decisions (other than decisions subject to appeal) made against them relating to employee entitlements.
d. The Tenderer must be positioned to provide the services in all states and territories where the Tax Office is located. That is, "deliver the services required on a national basis as a proprietary"; and
e. The Tenderer must be certified to Australian Standard AS4221 (1996 Guards and patrols).
Timeframe for DeliveryThe expected contract start date is 1 November 2009
