The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center has a requirement to replace two Comp-U-Aire Computer Room HVAC units at the VA Regional Office, 1600 E. Woodrow Wilson Ave., Jackson, MS. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Description/Specification/Work Statement, and the general contract specifications and requirements. Provide 18-month factory warranty on all parts and 1 year on labor to replace parts by installing contractor. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry and the VetBiz Registry to receive an award. The NAICS is 238220, and the Small Business Size Standard is $14M. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. A request for competitive proposals, RFP Solicitation number VA-256-09-RP-0327 for this requirement will be released on or about August 5, 2009. The RFP will contain the Description/Specification/Work Statement and information necessary to submit a proposal for the project. A Site Visit is tentatively scheduled on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM local time (see solicitation when available for details). Successful offeror will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds, as necessary, within 10 calendar days of contract award notification. Period of Performance is expected to be 90 days from the issuance of the Notice-To-Proceed.
