NOTE: All responses to this IFB shall be mailed to Western AreaPowerAdministration, P.O. Box 3700, Loveland CO, 80539-3003. Physical addressforhand carried bids: Western Area Power Administration, 5555 East Crossroads Boulevard, Loveland CO 80538. Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirementfora contractor to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment,tools,transportation, and any other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to the following: Furnish and install approximately 68 miles of overhead fiber optic ground wire (OPGW) on two138kVlines consisting of H-Frame and 3 pole wood structures between KremmlingColorado and Hayden Colorado. Furnish and install approximately 11 milesofOPGW on a 115kV line consisting of H-Frame and 3 pole wood structures nearLoveland Colorado. Terminate all new fiber optic cable using patch panelsin 4different substation control buildings. The work will be performed inGrand,Routte and Larimer Counties, Colorado. The estimated magnitude of theprojectis between $1 Million and $5 Million. The NAICS code for the project is237130and the size standard is $33.5 Million. The solicitation will be issuedunrestricted (full and open competition) at this site on or about August10,2009. Information hours are Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Mountain Time.
