The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS is conducting market research to determine if there are small businesses, in particular Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned or Veteran-Owned, with experience in repairing a post tension concrete parking garage. Potential offerors must have a record of satisfactory performance of at least 3 projects similar in size and scope over the last 5 years. General Statement of Work: Furnish and place an overlay system comprised of a two-component epoxy resin system with broadcast aggregate for the purpose of improving skid resistance and sealing the concrete surface. Preparation: Spalled and delaminated surfaces of the deck shall chipped back and areas to be patch shall be saw cut. Application: Four coats in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Testing: Use multiple vertical axis field pull-off bond tests in accordance with ACI 503R-93. Employ an independent testing agency or laboratory with satisfactory performance of at least 5 projects involving pull-off tests over the last 5 years similar in size and scope. Additional incidental work: Repair entrance of garage with asphalt and concrete. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238110, Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors, and size standard is $14M. RESPONDENTS SHOULD IDENTIFY THEIR BUSINESS SIZE AND SOCIOECONOMIC CATEGORY BASED ON THE NAICS CODE. Please submit expressions of interest and documentation of capabilities in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary past performance experience to compete for this acquisition. Please ensure responses do not exceed five (5) 8.5in. X 11in. pages (two-sided pages will count as two pages). Since this is a Sources Sought Announcement, no evaluation letters will be issued to respondents. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government and no contract will be awarded from this announcement.
