13 Aug 2009 - Note: With respect to the current Standard Labor Categories forprofessional categories all require degrees and do not allow for experiencequalifications in lieu of degrees. That being said, as always, there areexceptions to the rule. If, after award of the contract, the successfulofferor can provide convincing extenuating circumstances, includingextensive experience, that they believe warrants a waiver to the requirementof a degree for a particular person, then the COR "may" grant a waiver. Istress the word "may". It is not a requirement. This would be looked at ona case by case situation and no waiver would be granted for a labor categoryas a whole.
