This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit. The work includes, but is not limited to; provide ARC Flash Protective gear (Level 4) kits for the High Voltage Group. These have a 65 cal Rating and are required per Electrical SAFE for high voltage workers. Included are the following items: 65 cal bib overalls, coat, face shield w/ internal fans, gloves, safety glasses, hood bag, glove bag and gear bag. This gear is designed as added protection to be worn over the 8 cal PPE that is required. Provide ARC Flash Protective Gear (Level 2). Included are the following items; shirts, hooded sweatshirt, jeans, lightweight jacket, quilted jacket and set of bibs for winter work, head protection kit and gloves. The contractor will also replace and/or repair torn garments or missing or loose buttons. Pick up and drop off services will be arranged at the Dahlgren site. The contractor will measure each person for proper fit of the PPE and deliver items within 7 days of the contract award. The estimated cost range is $25,000 to $100,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 448190. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns.
