The Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna located in New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for the establishment of an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity Requirements contract to provide the necessary police uniforms, field jackets, boots and gloves for the Police Officers at Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna, New Cumberland, PA. Contract period is anticipated to be for a base year period with two (2) option-year periods. All responsible business concerns may submit an offer which shall be considered by this agency. The exact date and time for receipt of offers shall be provided in the solicitation package. NOTE: Contractors should be within a 10 mile driving distance from Defense Distribution Depot (DDSP), New Cumberland, PA 17070. If the contractor�s facility is not within a 10 mile driving distance from DDSP, New Cumberland, PA, the contractor will be required to provide services to the individual police officers at DDSP, New Cumberland, PA for the purpose of measuring and fitting police uniforms. Contractors outside of the ten (10) mile driving range will not be separately reimbursed for travel to and from DDSP. Therefore, contractors outside of the 10 mile radius should include in their quote, if desired, any expenses for travel to and from DDSP. Note: Multiple trips/visits will be required. If the contractor�s facility is within a 10 mile driving distance of DDSP, New Cumberland, PA, the police officers will travel to the contractor�s facility at the Government�s expense. This is a full and open competition acquisition and all responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this request for proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 315211 and the size standard is 500 employees. The government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced contract for one base year with two (2) option years. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation package will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 06 July 2009.
