The Government of Grenada has received a grant from the European DevelopmentFund, towards the cost of the Post Emergency School Rehabilitation Project; and intends to apply part of the funds to covereligible payments under the contract for Procurement of Equipment for Clothing and Textile. Bidding is open to all bidders fromeligible countries as defined in the Guidelines: Procurements under IBRD loans/IDA Credits (May 2004) # National CompetitiveBidding Procedures.

 

The Project Coordination Unit of the Ministry of Finance acting as theimplementing agency for the Government of Grenada invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Equipment forClothing and Textile for Secondary Schools.

 

Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents atthe Project Coordination Unit at the address (i) below from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address (i) below and upon payment ofa non refundable fee of EC$270.00.  The method of payment will be a deposit to the Project Account #101000479 at theGrenada Cooperative Bank Ltd, Church Street St. George's.  For bidders which tomake a wire transfer the swift code is: GROA GDGD.   The Bidding Documents will be availablefor pick up by thebidders from June 29, 2009, on presentation of a receipt confirming that the required deposit/transfer has been made to the ProjectAccount.

Bids shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) days after bid opening.  Bids should be delivered to the address given at (ii) below on or before 2:00 p.m. on July 31, 2009 at which timetenders will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose toattend.

 

The Government of Grenada does notbind itself to accept the lowest or anybid.  Also, the GOG will not reimburse any bidder for costs associated with bidpreparation and submissions.
