| Description | The Department invites suitably qualified consultants/contractors to submit a tender for media monitoring with the aim of collecting a comprehensive list of public information on firms facing difficulty as a result of the global economic downturn.This includes information on individual firms and business entities facing concerns over their future operations. The Department will require as much information as possible on total employment in the affected firm; the number of employees at risk; whether the firm is considering closure or part closure; the nature of the problem facing the firm (i.e., tight credit conditions, poor sales, etc); and whether there will be significant flow on effects to other firms |

The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Equal Employment Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (Cth); and
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership. |
