SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION

II.2) QUANTITY OR SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT
II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: Construction of Lero / Industrial
Enterprise Centre Building area circa 3 550 m² to include, business
incubation centres, laboratories, seminar and meeting rooms, research and
computer suites, along with academic and administrative offices.
Associated groundworks including car parking, roads, hard and soft
landscaping.
II.2.2) Options: No.
SECTION III: LEGAL, ECONOMIC, FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION
III.1) CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE CONTRACT
III.1.1) Deposits and guarantees required: The successful main contract
tenderer must provide a bond, issued by an approved bank or insurance
company, in the sum of 25 % of the contract price for the due performance
of the contract. The successful subcontractor tenderers may be required to
enter into a collateral agreement with the employer and provide a bond on
this agreement, issued by an approved bank or insurance company in the sum
of 25 % of the subcontract price. Other insurance will be required in
accordance with the conditions of contract. All successful contractors may
be required to enter into a collateral agreement with a bank, building
society or any other entity providing funds for the project.
III.1.2) Main financing conditions and payment arrangements and/or
reference to the relevant provisions regulating them: Payment will be made
monthly in accordance with the relevant clauses of the new government form
of contract.
III.1.3) Legal form to be taken by the group of economic operators to
whom the contract is to be awarded: If any group of contractors is
proposed, they will have a legally formed entity registered in Ireland on
or before the award of contract, and each member shall have joint and
several liability for the contract.
III.1.4) Other particular conditions to which the performance of the
contract is subject: No.
III.2) CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
III.2.2) Economic and financial capacity: Information and formalities
necessary for evaluating if requirements are met: (1) All candidates will
be required to provide evidence of relevant professional risk indemnity
insurance.
(2) All candidates will be required to provide a statement, covering the 3
previous financial years including the overall turnover of the candidate
and the turnover in respect of the activities which are of a similar type
to the subject matter of this notice.
(3) All candidates will be required to provide statements of accounts or
extracts from those accounts relating to their business.
All candidates will be required to provide a reference from their bank,
specific to this proposed development.
III.2.3) Technical capacity: Information and formalities necessary for
evaluating if requirements are met:
