The Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina has applied for a credit from
the International Development Association in the amount of USD
30,000,000 equivalent toward the cost of the Road Management and
Safety Project, and it intends to apply the proceeds of this credit to
payments under the contract for Consulting Services for Creation of
Environmental and Social Capacities-Creation of the Environmental
Unit.

Improve road management and safety.

The Republic of Srpska Road Directorate now invites eligible
consultants to indicate their interest in providing the following
services:

- Environmental-impact consultancy services
- Environmental training services

The consulting services include activities on environmental
management, assessment and enforcement, including training and know
how transfer to local staff. The consultant will provide training on
environmental assessment procedures; environmental aspects of road,
highway, bridge and tunnel projects; how environmental concerns are
reflected in technical specifications related to road construction,
rehabilitation, reconstruction and maintenance activities and
enforcement practices. The consultant will also provide study tours to
learn about environmental management organization, policies,
procedures and practices for road and highway projects in model
countries.

Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they
are qualified to perform the services (brochures, experience in
design, development and implementation of the Environmental Unit
Building Program, description of similiar assignments in last five
years, experience in similiar conditions, availability of appropriate
skills, etc, but not more than 15 pages, excluding CV).

appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to
enhance their qualifications. Consultants will be selected in
accordance with the procedures set out in the |World Bank| Selection
and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers[1].
