Works contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/128697/C/WKS/RS.
2. Procedure: Open.
3. Programme: IPA.
4. Financing: National IPA 2008.
5. Contracting authority: European Community, represented by the European
Commission Delegation to Serbia, on behalf of and for the account of the
beneficiary country, Belgrade, SERBIA.
6. Description of the contract: Construction of 2 lines of the Waste
Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) with a total capacity of app. 120 000
population equivalent.
The works include: civil engineering works, mechanical, electrical,
process equipment, instrumentation, HVAC and all other utilities for
normal plant operation.
The plant shall include primary and secondary treatment, and effluent
criteria comply with the EU urban wastewater treatment directive and
design conditions issued by relevant Serbian authorities.
The location of the plant is situated around the location of the old
wastewater treatment plant of Vrbas, south-east of the centre of the town.
Discharge of treated water will take place in the channel DTD Bogojevo —
Becej.

8. Scheduled publication date of the procurement notice: July 2009.

10. Legal basis: Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 of 17.7.2006.
