5. Contracting authority: The European Community, represented by the
European Commission, for and on behalf of the Government of the Kyrgyz
Republic, Bishkek, KYRGYZSTAN.
6. Contract description: The primary objective of the whole project is
rehabilitation/construction of selected rural schools and other social
infrastructure in the target regions of the Ferghana Valley in Kyrgyzstan.
The project contains a supply component to equip and modernise those
selected schools' premises and facilities.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: There will be a number of lots
under the supply component which will be specified in the procurement
notice.
