Project consists of construction and restoration of approximately 10.8 miles of trail. The work includes grubbing, excavation and other work items listed in the schedule. The restoration work will include only earth work with no clearing. Price estimate is between $25,000-$100,000. The project is located on the Palouse Ranger District. To access the project, take Highway #3 north of Bovil, Idaho for 4 miles to Palouse Divide Road #377, then travel 1 mile to the junction of Road #789 and follow 2 miles to the Feather Creek Trail #767 Trailhead. A pre-bid tour will be conducted on July 1st, 2009. Prospective bidders who want to take part in this tour may make arrangements by calling Tim Lewis at (208) 875-1735 or Charlie Cook at (208) 875-1735. The tour will meet at the Palouse Ranger Station at 7:00 a.m. The Palouse Ranger station is located at 1700 Highway 6 in Polatch, Idaho.
