The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma, Arizona has a Commercial Item supply acquisition for Anthracite Filter Media. For this acquisition, North American Industrial Classification System code is 221310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $7.0 Million. This acquisition is Small Business Set Aside; however, Large Businesses are encouraged to respond in the event that no responsive Small Business submits quotes. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about June 10, 2009, and the date and time for receipt of quotes will be on or about June 16, 2009, at 4 p.m. local time, however, all dates in this announcement are subject to change. A RFQ is being issued to facilitate submittal of quotes through electronic commerce and to view all applicable clauses and attachments. The RFQ No. 09SQ340118 and will be available at the link provided in this notice or check our website http://ideas.nbc.gov. Offerors should visit the web site after June 10, 2009 in order to access the RFQ and any subsequent amendments and/or notices. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR database may make an offeror ineligible for award. The CCR Handbook and information on the registration process can be obtained via the CCR website, http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which, if timely received, shall be considered. Quotes must be submitted electronically.
