Project consists of the following work: Realign intersection of Forest roads 247 and 700. Reconstruct picnic and group camping sites at Purple Beach. Road work involves excavation, minor clearing, importing borrow, placing aggregate and asphalt. Furnish and install concrete vault toilet, seven picnic tables and two fire rings. Place Government furnished barrier rocks. Seeding and fertilizing. Obliteration and restoration of approximately 1/8 mile of existing road. Project is located 28 miles north of Headquarters, Idaho. From the town of Orofino, ID, take State Route 7 east for 23 miles to the intersections with State Route 11. Turn left on State Route 11 and travel 7 miles north to Headquarters, ID. From Headquarters, ID take Forest Road 247 north for 28 miles to the intersection with Forest Road 700. Project is located at this intersection and 1/8 mile north on Forest Road 700 at Purple Beach. (40� 50� 30.53� N, 115� 37� 08.17� W) Approx. Start work date: 7/1/2010 Total Hub Zone Set-aside Estimated Price: $100,000-$250,000

NOTICE: The scope of work for this project has been reduced by removing some of the road realignment and asphalt work. Please refer to the solicitation package for the current contract requirements. The estimated price is now $25,000 - $100,000.
