Sealed quotations are invited from experienced security services supplying institutions for the provision of security services for the under mentioned buildings belonging to the Dehiwala - Mt Lavinia Municipal Council. (1) The 05 storeyed new office complex building situated on Galle Road at Dehiwala. (2) The Municipal Council building situated at District Engineer's Office premises at Ratmalana (3) Identified buildings, situated at other service places.
Institutes submitting quotations should have the following eligibilities -I (1) Experience in the provision of security services for storeyed buildings
(2) Should consist of officers capable of using security equipment I (3) Should consist of officers at supervisory level capable of carrying out 12 hour shift duty system.
(4) Should possess licenses for the use of firearms. (5) Should possess documents in registering as a corporation or board and under the Ministry of Defence.
Conditions of Service:- (1) The selected institute should keep a deposit of Rs. Five Lakhs (Rs. 500,000/ =) in a Bank guarantee.
(2) Should submit relevant certificates in proof of ETF and EPF payments.
(3) Should submit documentary evidence to prove fee supplying of private security services to state institutes / boards / corporations and private Companies for a minimum Period of 05 years.
(4)Should submit documentary evidence to prove the paying of income tax for a period of 03 years.
Quotations with above requirements and other details included, should be submitted in duplicate. The quotations should indicate the charges expected for male and female security officers, separately for a 12-hour duty shift, in keeping with their status. Also charges expected for Junior Armed Security Officers for a 12 hours duty shift should be submitted.
Quotations addressed to Municipal Commissioner, Dehiwala Mt Lavinia Municipal Council, Dehiwala should be sent either by registered post or deposited in the tender box provided at the Municipal Commissioner's Office, to be received at or before 10.00 a.m. on 08.07.2009. The quotations will be opened at 10.30 a.m. same day.
Covers containing the quotations should be marked "Supply of Private Security Services" on the top left corner.
