DescriptionOne of the AEC's key roles is to increase and enhance Australian citizens' understanding of, and participation in, the electoral process.  To this end, AEC staff attend and participate in public awareness events (e.g. visits to primary and secondary schools, and universities, community visits etc).The objective of AEC branded event display equipment is to attract peoples' attention at public events with the view to engage individuals with AEC staff which will, in turn, promote the AEC and its key messages.The event display equipment must appeal to the broad Australian community, as well as to the AEC's key target audiences which include; younger (17-24 years) Australians;new citizens; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; and people living in rural and remote areas.  Service providers must be able to deliver the equipment to AEC offices in the eight capital cities and, on occasion, to AEC divisional offices around Australia.
