Borough Council is seeking to appoint a provider (or consortium of
providers) to deliver a local Enterprise Coaching service targeted at
priority groups within Rochdale Borough with an interest in starting a
small business, social enterprise or becoming self employed. The aim of
the Enterprise Coaching project is to raise overall enterprise and an
entrepreneurial culture in deprived and under-represented communities by
finding and targeting people with the potential to start a business. These
individuals will receive hands-on help to develop their confidence, skills
and success in accessing mainstream business support or other suitable
progression routes into economic activity.

Enterprise Coaching project to be procured through the Accelerated
restricted Procedure as the project is an initiative being delivered by
Rochdale Borough Council in response to the current economic climate. The
Council is aiming to support growth and create business opportunities for
local businesses and residents in the borough.
