SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority:
Framework agreement for motorcycle and snow scooter suits for the police.
II.1.2) Type of contract and location of works, place of delivery or of
performance: Supplies.
Purchase.
Main place of delivery: Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
II.1.3) The notice involves: The establishment of a framework agreement.
II.1.4) Information on framework agreement: Framework agreement with a
single operator.
Duration of the framework agreement: Duration in year(s): 4.
II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The aim of the
contract is to purchase equipment which shall be used in the police's
motorcycle and snow scooter services, and other services which, in
accordance with the service regulations, have access to use this type of
equipment.
The contract consists of both motorcycle and snow scooter suits. See part
2 annex A specifications for a more detailed description of the products
and functional requirements.
The framework agreement will last for a period of 3 - three years with an
option to extension the contract for 1 - one year. The contract(s) will
run from the date that they are signed.
The following unbinding estimates for units per annum are based on the
figures from previous years:
— Motorcycle jackets approx. 198 units,
— Motorcycle trousers approx. 226 units,
— Snow scooter jackets approx. 217 units,
— Snow scooter trousers approx. 165 units.
The number of snow scooter suits can increase if there are changes in the
uniform rules in Norway.
Tenders can be given for lots for the following groups:
1) Motorcycle suits (jacket and trousers) and;
2) snow scooter suits (jacket and trousers).
It will be seen as an advantage if a total offer can be given for both
groups within the requirements, see point 7.4 of this document, also see
part 2 annex A specifications.
