Works contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/128550/D/WKS/KOS.
2. Procedure: Open international.
3. Programme: IPA.
4. Financing: IPA 2007; IPA 2008.
5. Contracting authority: European Commission Liaison Office to Kosovo,
Pristina, KOSOVO — UNMIK.
6. Description of the contract: The contract foresees the construction of
buildings such as health clinics; sports centres; schools; water supply
networks and water-treatment plants; sewerage networks and wastewater
treatment plants; and rehabilitation and construction of roads.
These works are located in different municipalities across Kosovo at an
estimated 16 sites. Works shall be contracted on a 'design and build'
basis, under a lump sum contract divided into the 3 lots in accordance
with EC procurement rules.

8. Scheduled publication date of the procurement notice: July 2009.

10. Legal basis: IPA Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 as adopted on
17.7.2006.
