7. Contract description: The project will facilitate the start-up of a
new Energy Regulatory Authority (ERA) by assisting in its establishment,
in the development of effective working procedures and methodologies and
in building capacity in specific technical and economic areas. This is to
be done through activities divided into tasks essential to day-to-day
working and effective operation of the institution on one hand, and
training of ERA staff, skills transfer and public awareness campaigns and
a communications strategy on the other.
8. Indicative budget: 600 000 EUR.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: 15.6.2009.
