Georgia is applying for a credit from International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of the Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi Road Improvement Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds to eligible payments for contract for Improvement of km0+000 – km 27+000 of Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi road section .

Prequalification will be conducted through the prequalification procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Main works for upgrading Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi road section (km0+000 – km 27+000 ), will be carried out through ICB procurement of works contracts, described in “Guidelines under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits” (May 2004, Revised October 2006).

Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information and inspect prequalification documentation at RDMED from 10:00 to 18:00 hours (Monday to Friday). A complete set of pre-qualification document in English language may be purchased by interested applicants (a) on the submission of written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 200 Georgian Lari or equivalent in USD/EUR. The method of payment will be by direct deposit to the following account:
