NOTE: All responses to this RFQ shall be mailed to Western AreaPowerAdministration, P.O. Box 3700, Loveland, CO 80539-3003. Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirementforthe services of a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, and other resources necessary to complete this requirement. The work includes, butisnot limited to: above and below ground inspection; furnishing and applyingground-line treatment, internal decay treatment, and preventative fumiganttreatment; and tagging and preparing inspection reports on the wood polesonapprocimately 344 miles of transmission line. The work for this project is located in various counties in Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming and Montana.Thefollowing factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technicalexpertise/personnel qualifications, experisence, past performance andprice.The solicitation is set aside 100% for Small Business Concerns. The NAICSCodeis 321114 and the applicable size standard is 500 employees. The RFQ willbeissued electronically on or about May 5, 2009 at this site. Thespecificationsand drawings will be issued in hard copy and may be obtained by faxing your request to the attention of Angelia D. Hill at 970-461-7295. Quotes may be faxed, mailed or e-mailed. Contractors must be registered in CentralContractor Registration in order to be considered for award. Contractor'sCCRregistration must include the NAICS code specified above. Informationhoursare 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday through Friday.
