INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Office of the President, through the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), hereby invites interested Janitorial Service Providers to apply for eligibility and to bid for the Multi-Year Contract (2009, 2010 & 2011) for Janitorial Services.

The Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) is Seven Million One Hundred Seventy Six Thousand One Hundred Pesos (Php 7,176,100.00) for the first year of contract (2009).

Eligibility and Bid/Tender Documents may be secured from the BAC Secretariat, Office of the President, Rm. 121, Ground Floor Mezzanine, Mabini Hall, Malacanang, Manila (Tel. No. 736-11-15), upon payment of non-refundable fee of Php 21,528.00 beginning on April 30, 2009 to May 8, 2009 from 8:00AM to 12:00NN, and from 1:00PM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday.

A pre-bid conference will be held on May 11, 2009 (Monday) at 10:00AM at GGAO Conference Room, Room M-121, Ground Floor Mezzanine, Mabini Hall, Malacanang, Manila.

Deadline for the submission of the Eligibility and Bid/Tender Documents/Forms shall be on May 25, 2009 (Monday) at 12:00NN, GGAO, Room M-121, Ground Floor Mezzanine, Mabini Hall, Malacanang, Manila . The opening of bids will be held on the same day at 2:00 PM at the GGAO Conference Room.

The Janitorial Service Provider must be in the business for at least three (3) years and must have at least Php 1.5 million working capital as of December 31, 2008.

The Office of the President- Bids and Awards Committee (OP-BAC) reserves the right to reject any or all bids, with or without cause and to award the contract to the bidder whose bid is deemed most advantageous to the Government.
