Individual supply contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/128454/D/SUP/RW.
2. Procedure: International open tender.
3. Programme: Increase rural energy access in Rwanda through public
private partnerships — IREARPPP.
4. Financing: Financial agreement 9 ACP RPR 173.
5. Contracting authority: The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning,
Kigali, RWANDA.
6. Contract description: The objective of the project is to provide solar
electricity to 250 to 350 isolated institutions in Rwanda. The contract
will involve the supply and installation of solar photovoltaic systems in
public institutions in rural Rwanda (schools, offices of sectors, health
centres). These supplies will include solar photovoltaic panels, batteries
for energy storage, regulators expense, inverters, lighting (lamps and
ballasts) and other accessories (cables, sockets, switches, etc.).
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: There will be 1 lot only.
8. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: 15.6.2009.
9. Additional information: No application or request for further
information should be sent at this stage.
10. Legal basis: ACP–EC Partnership Agreement signed at Cotonou on
23.6.2000.
